Music in the Schools

Music in the Schools (MitS) provides customized musical educational programs to school districts in the Grand Traverse region. Each school year, professional musicians present live performances and small group instruction to several thousand local students. The goal is to excite them about classical music and encourage them to begin, continue or master the playing of musical instruments.  To schedule a MitS program, contact the Symphony office at 231.947.7120.
